PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To estimate a dangerous factor even without detecting a circumferential body. SOLUTION: The map data of a next arrival intersection are read out and a road environment detection part 304 processes the map data of the next arrival intersection into intersection shape data. Driver operation information is all inputted to a local-vehicle drive intention estimation part 312, which estimates the traveling direction of a local vehicle, i.e. whether the driver drives straight in the next arrival intersection, or turns to the right or left. One of eight patterns of intersection models is read out based upon the intersection shape data and next arrival intersection traveling direction estimation to read out intersection model information (local vehicle estimated position, opposite vehicle estimated position, pedestrian/small vehicle estimated position, and dangerous factor area), and a dangerous factor area estimation part 315 estimates a dangerous factor area based upon the intersection model information and sends it to a display device 316.
