PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photothermographic imaging material having such excellent photographic performances as high sensitivity and low fog and excellent in storage stability before development and in image preservability after development. SOLUTION: In the photothermographic imaging material obtained by disposing a photosensitive layer containing photosensitive silver halide grains, an organic silver salt, a reducing agent and a binder on a support, a scandium compound shown by formula (1) is contained.
