PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a confocal microscopic spectroscope for simultaneously measuring scattered light, such as Raman scattered light and fluorescence, and the optical image (confocal optical microscopic image)of a sample, and for clarifying the position relationship. SOLUTION: Reflection light and scattered light from a sample S are separated by a notch filter 27, the quantity of light in the reflection light is measured by a photodetector 4, and Raman scattered light or a fluorescent spectrum is simultaneously measured by a photomultiplier tube 3 or a CCD 46. A location to be measured in the sample S is moved successively for accumulating the measured data of the quantity of reflection light, Raman scattered light, and fluorescent spectrum, and a two-dimensional or three-dimensional distribution image based on the measured data is displayed.
