PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means useful for a bomb, a missile, a close-attack warship defensive means and a hand gun, and used for exiting a large number of projectiles in a short time. SOLUTION: A gun barrel assembly 10 is provided with gun barrels 12, projectile assemblies 14 axially disposed within the barrel 12, propellant charges 16, ignition members 18, and control means 20. The projectile assemblies 14 are sequentially fired from the barrels. The present invention also discloses an arming system, barrel structure, means for preventing compression of the propellant charges and means for ensuring sealing between the projectile assembly and the barrel.
