PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an expansion screw device for an asphalt finisher capable of feeding a sufficient asphalt mixture to expansion screeds and constituted not to make the whole length of the screed long. SOLUTION: Expansion screws 10, 10 are arranged between the expansion screeds 8, 8 and a main screed 7 disposed in front of the expansion screeds 8, 8. The expansion screws 10, 10 are pivoted to expansion screed recessed parts 8e, 8e formed at the lower parts of expansion screed front walls 8b, 8b, and a lower part of a main screed rear wall 7c is provided with a main screed recessed part 7e forming a storage part for storing the expansion screws 10, 10 in cooperation with the expansion screed recessed parts 8e, 8e.
