PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightweight receiving dish for a free tray type agricultural product sorting device capable of being repeatedly reused and generating no noise at collision and contact. SOLUTION: The receiving dish for the free tray type agricultural product sorting device has an approximately cylindrical receiving dish body formed with a recessed part for storing the agricultural product at an upper part. The receiving dish body 50 is formed in a solid structure by foam-molding black foaming polypropylene and is provided with a through hole 53 for measuring a transmission light communicating with the recessed part. A light-screening member 55 for inhibiting the external light from entering the through hole 53 from an outer peripheral surface of the agricultural product in a state that the agricultural product being placed is provided at an inner peripheral surface 52 side of the receiving dish body 50.
