PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spray fire extinguisher having a long range, quickly extinguishing a fire, reducing a water loss, and capable of extinguishing the fire into the deep part of a burning material, and to provide a spray method for liquid. SOLUTION: This spray fire extinguisher is provided with a nozzle body 1 and an agitator 2 inserted in the nozzle body 1. The nozzle body 1 comprises a head chip 3 and a body 4 threadedly engaged with the head chip 3. The head chip 3, in its tip, is penetratingly provided with a nozzle hole 3a. The agitator 2 is inserted into the head chip 3 and formed with a spiral groove 2a in its circumferential edge. The side wall of the body 4 is provided with a gas press-in nozzle 7 suspended diametrically to the body 4.
