PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an abnormality detection system capable of determining whether the number of balls counted with a ball counting means by a player is the number of balls rightly obtained. SOLUTION: The abnormality detection system has a game machine side receiving means 2 wirelessly receiving a player's ID corresponding to a game machine 1, the possessed-ball-number calculating means 8 for calculating the number of balls possessed relating to the player's ID from the machine data corresponding to the player's ID received by the above game machine side receiving means, an obtained ball number counting means 4 wirelessly receiving the player's ID and counting an obtained ball number corresponding to the ID, and a determining means 9 calculating the difference between the possessed ball number corresponding to the above ID calculated by the above possessed ball number calculating means and obtained ball number corresponding to the above ID counted by the above obtained ball number counting means, determining whether the difference is within an allowable range stored in advance, determining normal when the above difference is within the above allowable range, and determining abnormal when the above difference exceeds the above allowable range.
