A harmonic diagnosing method for an electric facility, wherein a diagnosing method judges a deterioration by determining an index value obtained by dividing a relative harmonic content at each degree of current harmonic running through motors and inverters by the overall distortion rate of a harmonic up to a predetermined degree, by determining a judge reference value obtained by multiplying a harmonic function at each degree consisting of the index value by a diagnosis calculation value at each degree obtained by computing from the relative harmonic content at each degree, and by comparing the judge reference value with the index value, and wherein the judge reference value is weighted to classify the degrees of deterioration of the motor and the inverter, and a deteriorated portion is judged by the specific harmonic degree of the current harmonic.
