<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the drive time of data line connected to a unit circuit. <P>SOLUTION: A display matrix part 200 includes a pixel circuit 210 arranged in the form of a matrix, a plurality of gate lines Y1, Y2, .. extending in the row direction, and a plurality of data lines X1, X2, .. extending in the column direction. A scanning line is connected to a gate driver 300, and the data line is connected to a data line driver 400. Each data line is provided with a precharge circuit 600 and an additional current circuit, as a means of accelerating the charge or discharge of the data line.
