<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a stop time until a job restart of a virtual computer when collecting a memory dump by occurrence of a failure in the virtual computer. <P>SOLUTION: By overwriting an address of a dump target area of a memory area storing failure information into an address of an dump processing area inside a memory area allocated to another virtual computer such that the other virtual computer can dump the failure information stored inside the memory area allocated to one virtual computer operating on a physical computer into an auxiliary storage device, contents of a page table managing mapping information between a physical memory and the memory area allocated to the other virtual computer are changed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
