DAMPER AND DAMPING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a damper for attenuating vibration over a wide amplitude region, and to provide a damping device. SOLUTION: The damper penetrates an operation hole 19 providing a folding part 21 in a cylinder part 13 attached to a beam 31. A vibration absorption body 15 is arranged so as to be mounted on both the sides of the folding part 21 in the operation hole 19. The operation absorption body 15 is composed of an ultra-plastic metal material (Zn-Al metal). The vibration absorption body 15 is moved in the inside of the operation hole 19 due to relative displacement of a brace 35 in a hole shaft direction. Then, a part 15a receiving plastic bending deformation or plastic shearing deformation is successively transferred to attenuate relative vibration. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
