GRADE SORTING APPARATUS FOR SPHERICAL LUMPY AGRICULTURAL PRODUCT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the sorting work efficiency of spherical lumpy agricultural products, to miniaturize a grade classifying apparatus and to realize cost reduction. SOLUTION: Three images (a), (b) and (c) of the upper surface and both side surfaces of a quail egg A are extracted from the first frame image K1 at an image specifying position T1 and one image (d) of the upper surface of the quail egg rotated by 90°is extracted from the second frame image k2 at an image specifying position T2 while one image (e) of the upper surface rotated by 180°is extracted from the third frame image K3 at a image specifying position T3 and one image (f) of the upper surface rotated by 270°is extracted from the fourth image K4 at an image specifying position T4. The imaging of the 360°peripheral surface and both side surfaces of the quail egg is completed by the dividing imaging processing of those images and the grade of the quail egg is determined on reference to six images (a)-(f) and the discharge signal corresponding to this grade is formed to be outputted to the areas 128a-137a of a sorting parts 12.
