<p>Disclosed herein is a drive mechanism for an upright type stationary bicycle allowing the upright type stationary bicycle to be driven in various directions such that the user can perform aerobic exercise of the whole body. The drive mechanism according to the present invention comprises a base frame, a driving link formed as a bent clamp, wherein one end of the driving link is fixedly connected to one end of a body at one end of the base frame, the other end of the body being hingably connected to the other end of the base frame, a fixing plate fixedly attached to the upper portion of the other end of the driving link such that it can be driven together with the driving link, an upper elastic means base connected to the lower portion of the fixing plate such that one end of the elastic means is inserted thereinto and a lower elastic means base installed on the base frame corresponding to the upper elastic means base such that the other end of the elastic means is inserted thereinto, wherein the lower elastic means base is fixedly installed on the base frame by a clamp bolt. The driving link connected to the body is made in a bent clamp form and the driving link and the upper elastic means base are integratedly attached to the fixing plate. The upright type stationary bicycle enables a user to stably perform highly aerobic exercise of the whole body.</p> |
