<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin film-like item of a polyvinyl alcohol resin composition which is excellent in water resistance and discoloration resistance. <P>SOLUTION: The thin film-like item is obtained from an aqueous solution comprising a polyvinyl alcohol resin (A) and a polyvinyl alcohol resin (B) containing an active hydrogen-bearing reactive group, and has a phase-separation structure where the component (A) forms an island structure while the component (B) forms a sea structure. Preferably, the content ratio (A/B) by weight of the polyvinyl alcohol resin (A) to the polyvinyl alcohol resin (B) containing an active hydrogen-bearing reactive group is 2/98 to 60/40 and the active hydrogen-bearing reactive group is either one of an acetoacetate ester group, a diacetoneacrylamide group, an amino group and a 1,2-glycol bond-bearing group. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
