<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for delivering text material using a transmission medium. <P>SOLUTION: In an electronic book selection and delivery system (200), an electronic book is delivered by the method comprising the steps of: coding text material and menu data onto a composite signal; transmitting the composite signal over a transmission medium; receiving the composite signal from the transmission medium; and selecting the text material coded onto the composite signal using a menu system, wherein the menu system includes at least one submenu, the step further comprising the steps of receiving a subscriber entry, and correlating the subscriber entry to a part of the text material coded onto the composite signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
