<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photopolymerizable composition having high sensitivity and high printing durability and an image recording material with an image recording layer comprising the same. <P>SOLUTION: The photopolymerizable composition contains (A) an addition polymerizable compound having an ethylenically unsaturated double bond, (B) an alkali-soluble or alkali swelling binder, (C) a titanocene compound, and (D1) a specific triazine compound or (D2) a compound having a trihalomethyl group whose molar extinction coefficient at the wavelength of laser for exposure is ≤1,000.
