PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an acoustic instrument which enhances articulation in an external voice signal received through voice processing and a control mechanism. SOLUTION: An acoustic instrument includes a signal conversion unit for converting an analog signal received by a signal reception unit into a digital signal, a memory unit for temporarily storing the digital signal, a voice processing module for newly processing a voice signal stored in the memory unit through a micro processor unit according to a parameter set by a user, a voice control module for receiving the voice signal processed by the voice processing module and adjusting an output volume through the micro processor unit, and a signal output unit for receiving the voice signal adjusted by the voice control module to be outputted. Rate, tone and/or volume of an output voice is controlled through the acoustic instrument. Thus, it becomes possible to aid a user to hear a voice signal. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
