PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling structure of a cylinder block, inhibiting a spacer from blocking up a water passing hole in the case of disposing the spacer in the water jacket. SOLUTION: (1) In this cooling structure 1 of the cylinder block, the spacer is disposed in the water jacket of the cylinder block, and the spacer 20 is provided with a cutout 24 opposite to the water passing hole 9 of the water jacket 10. (2) In the cooling structure 1 of the cylinder block, the spacer is disposed in the water jacket of the cylinder block, and the spacer 20 is provided with a passage 25 for guiding the engine cooling water from a region of the water jacket having high water pressure to the water passing hole 9 of the water jacket.
