FLAME-RETARDANT INJECTION-MOLDED BODY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To impart excellent flame retardancy together with durability to an injection-molded body comprising a biodegradable plastic having incorporated a metal hydroxide as a flame-retardant. SOLUTION: The flame-retardant injection-molded body has a composition comprising a resin composition (A) mainly composed of a lactic acid-based resin, a metal hydroxide (B) having its surface treated with a silane coupling agent and an aromatic carbodiimide (C). The surface treatment of the metal hydroxide as the flame-retardant with the silane coupling agent in combination with the incorporation of the aromatic carbodiimide (C) permits acquisition of the injection-molded body satisfying both excellent flame retardancy and durability.
