PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the rigidity of an upper part of a front main cover without deteriorating maintainability from an opening of the front main cover in a front cover structure of a scooter type vehicle. SOLUTION: This front cover structure for the scooter type vehicle has a front cover 15 covering the front side of a head pipe 2a of a vehicle body frame 2 composed of a front main cover 15m having an opening 20, both of right and left inner edges thereof are V-shaped at an upper central part and fixed on the vehicle body frame 2, and a front sub cover 15s connected to the front main cover 15m in such a manner of covering the opening 20. A reinforcement wall 21 connecting upper ends of both the right and the left inner edges of the opening 20 is formed as one body with the front main cover 15m, and the front sub cover 15s is formed to cover the reinforcement wall 21 together with the opening 20.
