PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an illegal opening prevention device for a game machine capable of preventing, by using a wire, a game machine front frame from being illegally opened and preventing the wire from becoming an obstacle when the frame is opened. SOLUTION: The illegal opening prevention device 1 prevents the front frame 54 from being opened by fixing a front edge of a tube 4 near a hook 57, connecting the wire 5 drawn from the front edge of the tube 4 to the hook 57, winding the wire 5 by a reel inside a case 3, and locking a move of the reel to inhibiting drawing of the wire 5 from the tube 4 to inhibit the hook 57 from rotating. Unlocking the reel makes the wire 5 follow after the turning of the hook 57 to be drawn from the tube 4, making the turning of the hook 57 not inhibited and enabling the front frame 54 to be opened. The tube 4 can be disposed on a route not causing hindrance because of a length and flexibility of the tube 4 and can be laid even in a narrow inside space of the game machine.
