PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide X-ray diagnostic apparatus which is convenient and where a patient is exposed to reduced X-rays by utilizing compensation filters of a compensation filter device for setting of a concerned area, simplifying the moving operation of it and performing position adjustment of lighting field for controlling the X-rays according to the moving operation of it. SOLUTION: An operator moves each of a group of compensation filters of the compensation filter device 5 by the operation of a filter operation part 11 to make this to have such a form as surrounds the concerned area. Thereafter, the operator registers the positional relation of the group of the compensation filters 5a by the registration button 12a of a filter position registration part 12. After the registration, a filter driving control part 13 performs driving control of a driving part 5b. Thus, the operator can move the group of the compensation filters 5a as one compensation filter while keeping the positional relation of the compensation filters 5a by operating the filter operation part 11.
