The invention relates to a carbonate phosphate ore processing method. The inventive method is of the type that comprises at least one step involving the mechanical processing of the ore, during which the particle size thereof is reduced such as to produce an ore fraction having a particle size of less than approximately 8mm. The invention is characterised in that, during the aforementioned mechanical processing step, the particle-size fraction is subjected to at least one attrition phase (7) which is performed in two sequences (7a, 7c), said sequences being separated by a fine particle elimination sequence (7b), for example, of the hydroclone separation type, such as to disaggregate the soft carbonate blocks in the form of particles with dimensions of less than 300ñm. |
