A liquid-type fuel cell system includes: a liquid-type fuel electromotive unit (1) for outputting a first power; a fuel supply unit (4) for supplying liquid fuel to the liquid-type fuel electromotive unit (1); an auxiliary power source unit (3) charged by the first power outputted from the liquid-type fuel electromotive unit (1) and outputting a charged second power; and a control circuit (10A) for controlling fuel supply. The control circuit (10A) monitors the charge state of the auxiliary power source unit (3) and controls the supply of the liquid fuel from the fuel supply unit (4) to the liquid-type fuel electromotive unit (1) according to the monitoring result.
