A holding device (1) has a plastic casing with upper (21) and lower (22) injection-molded parts (IMP) interlinked by a lock/screw connection. The upper IMP has a retaining space in the center for a mobile telephone (MT) and dimensions to adapt to the MT. A tappet (5) with a spring bearing makes it easier to remove the MT when locked in. An independent claim is also included for a system for holding different mobile electronic terminals like a mobile telephone or a personal digital assistant in a motor vehicle.
