<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide improved method and device utilizing a more refined photographic technique used in combination with a previous plan (for example, a treatment plan). <P>SOLUTION: This invention is related with a method for judging the position of a surgical tool relative to the target volume in an animal body corresponding to the previous plan. This method comprises (i) a process for acquiring a plurality of two-dimensional images of the target volume expressed respectively by image data slices I(x, y, z) using a photographic means, (ii) a process for reconstituting a three-dimensional image of the target volume expressed by a volume image data series V(x, y, z) from a plurality of the image data slices I(x, y, z) using a conversion means, and (iii) a process for displaying to a user the three-dimensional image of the target volume using a display means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
