<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power converter integrated type solar battery module which has such a structure that allows easy dissipation of heat generated from a power converter and hence can reduce a power loss, and which can reduce the number of constituent members of the power converter, resulting in improving the assembling workability in manufacturing. <P>SOLUTION: A metal plate 102 is integrally formed in at least a part on a non-light receiving face side of the solar battery module. The metal plate 102 is partially bent into having a U-shaped portion 104, and a power conversion substrate 105 is located in the U-shaped portion 104. The electrode connection member 107 of a photovoltaic element is electrically connected to the power conversion substrate 105.
