<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel tank arrangement structure in which shocks from a rear side to a fuel tank can be mitigated by making use of existing components without changing a vehicle body structure, an increase in weight is suppressed to obtain the lightweight fuel tank arrangement structure. <P>SOLUTION: In the fuel tank arrangement structure, side frames provided on both sides in the right-to-left direction of a vehicle extend in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle, and a fuel tank is disposed between the side frames. A barrel portion of the fuel tank extends along the right-to-left direction of the vehicle, a rear axle overlapping the fuel tank is disposed behind the fuel tank within the height range of the fuel tank, and a cover member to cover the rear side of the barrel portion of the fuel tank is provided to this rear axle. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
