PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve an image with good image quality by sufficiently presenting favorable colors, in relation to a color correction device, a color correction method, and a color correction program for performing the color correction of a color image, and a color conversion device, a color conversion method, and a color conversion program for performing the color conversion of image data while performing the color correction of the color image. SOLUTION: A color component amount representing a color image is corrected by the color correction device. For correction, a criterion is set by color coordinates a, b indicating a hue and a saturation, and a Lab color space (predetermined color space) with brightness (intensity of light) L as a color component amount. In order to correct the color component amount in an ab plane (color plane) represented by the color coordinates a, b, color coordinates representing an image in a predetermined color correction area R1 of substantially elliptical shape are corrected into the color coordinates of a position directed to a compression center point P0 which have been set as color coordinates representing a target hue and chroma in the color correction area R1, thereby performing color correction of the image.
