PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device of an NC machine tool which can efficiently check macro variables of an NC program currently being executed. SOLUTION: A list display screen 30A of extracted macro variables in a program screen displayed on the display device is provided with; a program display area 31 where the contents of the NC program selected are displayed; a coordinates display area 32 where an absolute coordinate value and a remaining moving amount of each axis are displayed; an operation information display area 33 where various operation information are displayed; and a macro variable display area 34 where macro variables are listed and displayed. In the macro variable display area 34, not all the macro variables registered in a RAM of an NC device are listed and displayed, but only the macro variables used in the NC program currently displayed on the program display area 31 are extracted by a CPU and names and values of the extracted macro variables are listed and displayed.
