PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method for manufacturing a liquid crystal display panel by which the display quality of the liquid crystal display panel is prevented from lowering and the productivity is more improved. SOLUTION: The device for manufacturing the liquid crystal display panel, by which two sheets of substrates 6a, 6b are bonded to each other so that their principal surfaces are made parallel to each other, includes with: a supporting member 5 to support the one substrate 6b; and a substrate fixing part 4 having adherence to fix the substrate 6b to the supporting member 5.
