PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a constitution capable of effectively suppressing the drop of paper stored in a paper feed cassette when the paper feed cassette is removed from an image forming device body. SOLUTION: The paper feed cassette 6 is constituted removably from the image forming device body 2 having an image forming section 5, and has a box-like storage section 95 capable of storing a plurality of sheets of paper. A gripping section 97 for holding the paper feed cassette 6 by hand is disposed at a position higher than a paper mounting surface (surfaces 8a and 90a) for supporting the paper in the storage section 95 on the front surface of the paper feed cassette 6. The angleθ2 between a straight line L1 passing through the gripping section 97 and the center of gravity of the paper feed cassette 6 and a paper mounted surface is set at 5°or larger.
