PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To change a router which controls information distribution and connection with a public telephone line and to transfer installation in an information residence in which in-house wiring for information communication which makes various information terminals usable at a plurality of locations is provided as precedence wiring regarding the in-house wiring for information communication, a communication outlet and an information distribution board of the information residence. SOLUTION: Outside line connection ports to be connected to a public communication line (outside line) are provided to a plurality of communication outlets arranged in a residence and star connection or bus connection is performed to the outside line connection ports and the public communication line drawn in the information distribution board 1 by the in-house precedence wiring. Each communication outlet is provided at least each one inside line outlet ports for analog and digital as well as the outside line connection ports. Practically, one outside line connection port, at least one analog inside line connection ports, an ISDN connection port and a LAN connection port are provided to each outlet.
