Device for storing and presentation of disk type data media, e.g. CDs, has a base element (1) with a holder at a distance to a mounting base (4). The holder forms a support for the disk (6) and is dimensioned so that its diameter matches that of the non-data part of a disk. In the middle of the holder is a pin that acts as a centering element for an opening in the disk. When the disk is placed on the holder there is a space (11) between it and the mounting base. The inventive device is designed for use with a swiveling mounting arm that forms the mounting base for the base element. A number of swiveling arms can be combined for storage and presentation of data disks.
