PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information providing device for calculating accounting information corresponding to the labor and cost of an information provider required for acquiring a new member.

SOLUTION: A member information database 11a is stored with mail addresses and information provider identification information that designates information providers having brought about member entrance. An accounting information database 11c is stored with transmission cost information and accounting multiplication factor information (<1) for calculating accounting information with respect to providers of transmission information when transmission information is transmitted from an information management device 10. When transmitting transmission information satisfying transmission conditions to a mail address, the management device 10 determines whether agreement occurs between information provider identification information corresponding to the transmission information and information provider identification information corresponding to a member having the mail address. Accounting information is calculated based on the transmission cost information if no agreement occurs meanwhile based on the transmission cost information and accounting multiplication factor information if agreement occurs.
