<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an address code generation device generating an address code suitable for sales management of an administrative district unit, freely usable without infringing a copyright. <P>SOLUTION: This address code generation device 1 generates the address code 100 expressing a town area subdivision in the administrative district units by use of a local public organization code and a postal code number.
