PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus which prepares a folding sealed letter continuously at a low cost by using a continuous form through a few processes and installation units in a folding sealed letter preparing apparatus. SOLUTION: The sealed letter preparing apparatus comprises a variable lateral sewing machine which is driven by a sectional motor and can form a lateral perforation at a random interval in the running direction of the continuous form, and a variable folding machine which is driven by a sectional motor and has an apparatus folding the continuous form with a folding width of the lateral perforation formed by the variable lateral sewing machine. The variable folding machine is provided with a cutting device which cuts the continuous form per unit form set along each lateral perforation formed by the variable lateral sewing machine for sending the forms to the folding device, with a unit form set feeding device for discharging the unit form sets one by one folded by the folding device, and with a pressurizing and bonding device for pressurizing and bonding the forms per unit form set on the downstream side of the variable folding machine, for preparing sealed letters.
