PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger at a low cost whose heat resistance is small and pressure loss involved in circulation of a cooling fluid is small. SOLUTION: The heat exchanger has a container 1 provided with a cooling fluid inlet 4 and a cooling fluid outlet 5, and a porous body 3 which is installed meanderingly inside the container so that a cooling fluid 2 flowing in from the cooling fluid inlet 4 is dispersed along a heat transmitting wall surface of the container 1, divides an inside of the container 1 into a space R1 at a cooling fluid inlet side and a space R2 at a cooling fluid outlet side, and allows the dispersed cooling fluid 2 to pass to the space R2 from the space R1.
