PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transparent radiator hose which can visually check the fouling of a fluid such as a coolant liquid by rust in the radiator hose, a cavitation phenomenon, etc., without spoiling the functions of a conventional radiator hose and a method for producing the hose. SOLUTION: A radiator hose main body made of a rubber and a fiber is transparent. In the method for producing the radiator hose in which the radiator hose body is produced from an extruded material comprising the rubber and the fiber, a core bar coated with the material is set in a vulcanizer, the lid of the vulcanizer is closed, an exhaust valve and a steam valve are opened, and the vulcanizer is deoxygenated. After the passage of a prescribed time, the exhaust valve is closed. After vulcanization for a given time, the exhaust valve is opened to finish primary vulcanization. The core bar is removed from the vulcanizer, and a primary vulcanization product is detached from the core bar. After that, the primary vulcanization product is placed in a container, placed in a secondary vulcanization apparatus, and subjected to secondary vulcanization for a given time.
