PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a balance weight capable of being easily controlled and handled, having superior workability and easily automating the coating. SOLUTION: This balance weight 6 is applied to a desired part of a rotating body to adjust the balance of the rotating body. The balance weight 6 includes metallic powder mainly composed of tungsten having a specific gravity of 10 or more and particle sizes of 5 to 20μm, and one-component curable adhesive having a viscosity of 10 Pa s to 50 Pa s and thixotropic property, and its bulk density after mixing and curing them, is adjusted to be 4 or more. The one-component curable adhesive is the cold setting, heat setting or ultraviolet ray setting type adhesive, and tungsten carbide powder may be used as the metallic powder as the case may be.
