PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide inkjet printing equipment which can easily adjust a gap between a nozzle forming surface of a printhead and a capping surface of a capping unit. SOLUTION: This inkjet printing equipment is equipped with the printhead which is equipped with a plurality of ejection nozzles, and the capping unit for sealing the nozzle forming surface of the printhead. The inkjet printing equipment enables the adjustment of the gap between the nozzle forming surface of the printhead and the capping surface of a capping means. A lamp for lighting up the gap between the nozzle forming surface of the printhead and the capping surface of the capping unit is provided so as to be turned on at the adjustment of the gap between the nozzle forming surface and the capping surface.
