A method for monitoring of transport goods and/or built-on parts in which the positional change of at least one of the transport goods or one of the built-one parts, relative to a transport device, is detected by a communication of a transmitter/receiver with a transponder (16) located on the transport goods or built-on part and is thus monitored. With a detected change in position of the transponder or the at least one transport goods item or the built-on part relative to the transport device, a signal is released. An independent claim is included for a monitoring or antitheft device.
