MICROCAPSULES AND ORAL COMPOSITIONS CONTAINING THE SAME

It is intended to provide microcapsules having a foreign material enclosed in microbial cells which are excellent in the speed, strength or sustainment of release; a process for producing these microcapsules; and oral compositions containing these microcapsules. The microcapsules can be obtained by adhering at least one member selected from the group consisting of saccharides, sweeteners with high sweetness, proteins and polyhydric alcohols to the surface of a microorganism having the foreign materials enclosed in its cells.
