<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that there is, in a current network printing system, anxiety about security (theft and stealing-a-glance) for printed matter despite not essentially relating to printing, and about the state of feeding paper in a printer and its operational status when output is made to paper. <P>SOLUTION: When a user connects the storage medium to an information processor such as a personal computer, a cellular phone or the like, the storage medium is recognized as a printing device by a plug and play function, and printing can consequently be executed with an ordinary operation. In addition, when the storage medium is mounted in a printing device, the printing device recognizes the storage medium as an information processor such as a personal computer, a cellular phone or the like which request printing, and a printing operation starts in accordance with print instructions (programs) accumulated in the storage medium. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
