<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage device, which can read previously written normal correction data, when the correction data written in the flash memory are wrong correction data, while efficiently using a flash memory. <P>SOLUTION: In a storage device, the same type of data whose generations are different are stored over a plurality of generations. In the storage device, generation information showing the generations is added to those respective data, when the respective data are stored, in order to manage the generations of those various data. Also, since one type of data and the generation information are written in one erasure unit and there is no need to assign a single erasure unit for the generation information whose capacity is considerably smaller than that of the erasure unit, the storage capacity can be used efficiently. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
