PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fingerprint collation device capable of easily authorizing a user by means of a single authentication management center device while equalizing the size of distributed registration information. SOLUTION: For distributed registration of a fingerprint, the authentication center device 3 allocates fingerprint information from a fingerprint sensor device 9 to a user fingerprint terminal device 7 for registering it as second distributed registration user fingerprint information 10 and to the authentication management center device 3 for registering it as first distributed registration user fingerprint information 11. In this way, fingerprint registration information cannot be obtained when agreement cannot be obtained between the second distributed information 10 and the first dispersed information 11, while creation of both of the distributed information is carried out sufficiently only once in registration, and the fingerprint information is distributed in two places without respect to a collation ratio to be surely protected. The fingerprint information can be easily managed since distributed information is equal in quantity, while fingerprint authentication can be carried out by the authentication management center device 3 alone, and consequently, costs for facilities and operation can be lowered.
