PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To clean and reuse a gridiron used for broiling meat. SOLUTION: The gridiron 20 used for broiling meat is immersed in a liquid detergent 101 inside a container 100 and fixed objects are easily peeled off. The gridiron 20 taken out from the liquid detergent 101 is barrel-polished in a polishing device 200 and the stuck fixed objects are removed. That is, when the gridiron 20 is housed inside a rotary container 201 in an erected posture state and the rotary container 201 is rotated, barrel-polishing is executed by the relative polishing motion of a medium 208 and the gridiron 20. Also, since end faces 201a and 201b are inclined, the medium 208 is moved in a horizontal direction while accompanying the rotation of the rotary container 201.
