PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable navigation device equipped with the function to deal with the case when other functions of the navigation function and the telephone call function, or the like cannot be executed at the same time by the throughput of CPU in the mobile phone and the restriction of the memory capacity. SOLUTION: A navigation device 10 using a mobile phone with a GPS means is provided with a navigation control module 123, a telephone call control module 122 for talking with other mobile terminals, and an operation control module(OS) 121 for controlling each module. When the operation control module(OS) detects a predetermined event while OS is operating the navigation control module, OS sends a suspension command to a navigation control module so that the navigation control module is suspended.
