PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery disposing part structure for a saddle type vehicle capable of narrowing a width in a vehicle width direction after securing a capacity of a battery, etc. SOLUTION: In this structure, an air cleaner 80 and a battery box 79 for storing the battery 78 are jointly provided in the vehicle width direction on the lower side of a seat of the saddle type vehicle. The battery box 79 has a bottom wall 79a on which the bottom surface 78a of the battery 78 is mounted, and is constituted so that the side surface 78b of the battery 78 is abutted on the side surface 80a of an air cleaner 80 by releasing the air cleaner 80 side.
